RAR

RARLAB’s RAR is an original all-in-one compression, archiving, backup, extraction software that is easy to use, fast, free, and can even be used as a basic file manager.

RAR can create files in RAR and ZIP formats and supports decompression of archives in RAR, ZIP, TAR, GZ, BZ2, XZ, 7z, ISO, and ARJ formats. Its features include repairing damaged ZIP and RAR files, benchmarks compatible with RARLAB’s WinRAR, recovery records, regular and recovery volumes, encryption, solid archives, and data compression using multiple CPU cores.

In addition to standard ZIP files, the decompression function supports ZIP and ZIPX formats, can decompress files compressed with BZIP2, LZMA, PPMd, and XZ, as well as password-protected ZIP files. The Unrar command works with all versions of RAR files, including the latest RAR5 format, supports password-protected files and multi-part files.

File management features include copying, deleting, moving and renaming files and folders, creating new folders, and installing applications from APK packages.
